D.A.R.E. is taught to all 5th and 7th grade students in the RE-1 school district. D.A.R.E. is not state or federally funded. We must raise our own money to purchase books, incentives and to cover costs of events such as graduations and trips.

CORTEZ FRIENDS OF D.A.R.E. is a 501-C non-profit group. It is the goal of this group to raise funds to keep and improve our local D.A.R.E. program. All donations to this group are tax deductible. We can accept donations of cash as well vehicles, trailers or property. 100% of all donations go directly to our kids. We will never use these funds for payroll, uniforms, training or equipment. We have other sources to address those needs.
